From Kep, we head towards the salt marshes and then the beach of Angkaul Beach. We then go to the Vietnamese border to enter the kingdom of buffalo and the deep countryside. We go through the royal alley and then visit a bird reserve (according to period and timing) before lunch in a small village. We then go to Kompong Trach where we criss-cross the so-called “little Halong Bay of Cambodia” before sinking into the valley of pepper plantations by stopping at a local producer. Back to Kep, always by tracks.
