Rice fields, villages, water buffaloes, salt marshes, pepper plantation
Departure: 8h30 – Arrival: 17h
Distance: around 100km
Departing from Kep we will visit a very special pepper plantation, where some of the seedling have been planted nineteen years ago. We will ride off the beaten tracks and stop at Changkar Bey Lake, and then, after few impromptu breaks, we will reach “the small Ha Long Bay of Cambodia”. We will have lunch at “Tata” or in another delicious “boui-boui” before driving through shady laterite tracks to finally reach the Realm of the Buffaloes, only a few kilometers from the Vietnamese border. We will then return to Kep via the “Royal Alley”, in the very heart of an authentic Cambodia, along the salt fields and the mangroves. This ride will take us to the coast and its islands and just on time for a beautiful sunset.
